Aux Switches
Aux Switch B & BB
Aux switches are 3-button footswitches that provide external control for Eventide, Digitech, Electro Harmonix, and many other devices. The aux switch replaces the Digitech FS3X, FS300, or FS3 — with three buttons for ‘up,’ ‘down,’ and ‘mode’ functions.
Saturnworks aux switches can also be used to the control a variety of other devices such as the EHX Grand Canyon, 720 Looper, Mod Rex Polyrhythmic Modulator, Super Pulsar and Superego+. The aux switch also works as a replacement for the TC Helicon Switch 3 pedal — as well as any other device that uses a triple momentary switch with tip, ring, tip+ring functionality.
The aux switch must connect to your device with a TRS (in other words, stereo) patch cable (not included). If you need a TRS cable, we have them available here.
The aux switch comes in two sizes. Both are functionally identical. The larger ‘BB’ size (4.7″ x 3.7″) simply allows a bit more space between the switches, while the smaller ‘B’ size (4.4″ x 2.4″) saves on space.
Aux Switch with Remote Tip
Our aux switch with a remote tip takes a regular aux switch (tip, ring, tip+ring) design but allows you to use the tip function as a remote switch. The tip function is the “mode” switch on the FS3X. The pedal has two jacks: a TRS jack and a TS jack. The TRS jack connects to your device. The TS jack connects to a remote normally open momentary switch.
The remote switch can also be used to connect a 25k TS expression controller to the Eventide H9. Please see Eventide’s info for connecting both an aux switch and an expression controller to the H9.
Dual Aux Switch
Our dual aux switches features two separate aux circuits, piggybacked onto the same three switches. The dual version has two TRS jacks, one for each devices. You can also use it as a regular aux switch by connecting to either of the jacks. Please note that the dual version uses momentary switches that have a light click. Soft touch momentary switches are not compatible with the dual application.
General Info
New starting January 2021: upgraded soft touch momentary switches! We are now installing new higher-grade soft touch momentary switches in our soft touch momentary applications. We were able to source a higher quality soft touch momentary switch than any switch we’ve used previously. Our new switch is both quieter and beefier than any other soft touch momentary switch we’ve been able to source previously.
