Custom graphics and premium component upgrades to make your Saturnworks pedal your own creation.
Premium Upgrades
We work hard to source top-shelf parts for our pedals. Our standard pedals are reliable and we very rarely see problems with parts. But if you’re the type of player that demands the absolute best money can buy, Saturnworks offers several premium upgrades to our stock pedals.
Visit our upgrades page to add premium upgrades to your pedal.

Soft-click Switches
Customers looking for quieter switching often contact us asking if we can substitute regular latching switches with ‘soft touch’ switches. Soft touch switches are momentary and need to be installed in conjunction with active relays in order to act like latching switches. This makes otherwise passive pedals require power, can often make the pedal require a larger enclosure, and they cost around $40 each to install.
Enter the soft click latching switch.
Only recently available on the market, and only in small quantities, soft-click latching switches are the absolute highest quality switches available on the market, bar none. Manufactured in small batches in Japan, soft click latching switches are ultra quiet, have a buttery smooth action, feature gold lugs, and are rated for an astounding 200,000 cycles (regular latching switches are rated usually between 5,000 and 15,000).
Check out a soft click latching switch in action compared to a regular latching switch and a soft-touch momentary switch here.
Premium Momentary Switches
Similar to their premium latching cousins, we are now offering premium momentary switches. These top quality switches have the same 200k rating as the latching version, and are the highest quality momentary switches on the market. They are compatible with normally open or normally closed momentary applications, as polarity or TRS setups (Strymon tap tempo pedals, for example), as well as momentary feedback looper applications. Since they are only available in single pole (channel), they are unfortunately not compatible with dual or triple tap applications.
Check out a video comparison of the momentary switches we use, including the premium momentary.
Switchcraft Jacks
Switchcraft versus Neutrik is a bit like Coke versus Pepsi. Both have their fans. Both Neutrik and Switchcraft are top quality jacks. Neutriks are high quality beefy jacks that grip like crazy. Neutriks are made in China. Switchcrafts are made in the USA and are considered the industry standard premium quality jacks. Switchcraft are made from a higher quality metal alloy and are often featured in the highest end guitar and pedal builds.
Painted Enclosures
Most of our pedals can be upgraded to either black or white powder-coated enclosures for only $5. We have a variety of other colors available as well with varying prices, depending on the color and enclosure size.
You can add powder-coated enclosures to your project on our upgrades page.
Knobs & LEDs
We can customize your pedal with a variety of knobs and LED options.
We typically use a combination of red, green and blue LEDs, but we can install a variety of colors, including purple, white, yellow, orange, and pink. If you would like a partciular color, simply include your request as a note when you place your order, or send us a message after you check out to request specific LED colors.
We typically use the plastic knobs pictured on the pedal listings. However, like the LEDs, we can get knobs in a variety of colors and styles. You can add aluminum knobs to your order on our upgrades page.
Phase inverting switches
We can add active phase inverting switches to splitting and summing/mixing projects. The cost is generally around $50 per channel, which includes the active circuity and phase switching toggles.
Be aware that adding phase circuitry can also make the pedal larger, which can add to the cost. As with other customizations and upgrades, contact us for details.

Graphics
The photos of pedals on the site are stock photos. The pedal you receive may or may not feature the same graphic as the stock photo. If you see a graphic you like, and would like that graphic on your pedal, simply include a note with your order letting us know which graphic you prefer. We can usually accommodate your request. You can also request no graphic.
The “order notes” field is directly below where you enter your address as you complete the checkout process.
Please note: we have updated our checkout options and some checkout methods, specifically Apple Pay and Google Pay, may not have a notes field. If you don’t see a notes field as you complete the checkout process, simply send us a message after you check out with any graphics/LED requests. When contacting us to request customizations, please include your order number.
Please do not use the order notes field to ask questions. If you have any questions regarding your order, please send them through our contact page before you place your order.
Please note: not every graphic will fit onto each of our pedals. When requesting a specific graphic, please select a graphic with the same size and orientation as the pedal you’re purchasing. The comparison chart below should help. If you’re not sure if you’re selecting the correct graphic size for the pedal you’re interested in, please contact us to confirm the size before ordering.
We can also do custom graphics. You simply need to provide an appropriately sized image and we can get it printed onto the vinyl label stock we use for our graphics. Contact us for details.
