3-channel rotary switch, reversed
The Saturnworks rotary switch switches input or output channels using a high quality all-metal Alpha brand switch. Rotary switches can be used to switch one input to various outputs, such as switching one guitar between various amps, or switch between multiple instruments to a single amp.
Both the standard and reversed rotary switches work in the same way: switching through one channel at a time with a knob-based switch. The only difference is the jack configuration. The standard version has one jack on the right and three on the left. The reversed version has three jacks on the right and one on the left. This can help to facilitate their placement on a standard right-to-left pedalboard.
The TRS versions use 1/4″ TRS jacks on the inputs and outputs. The TRS versions are for TRS switching applications such as stereo or balanced audio signals or expression controllers. For example, you can use a TRS rotary switch to switch one expression pedal between multiple devices (one at a time). TRS versions can also be used with standard TS signals.
The reversed 5-channel rotary switch switches five inputs to one output (one at a time). It also features a sixth ‘off’ position.
The version with volume controls features volume knobs on the inputs so that you can pre-set the levels of the various inputs relative to each other. This switch is perfect for connecting multiple instruments to the same pedalboard/amp.
Rotary Looper
The rotary 3-looper switches between three true bypass loops with a single channel selector knob. Only one knob is active at a time. A fourth knob position bypasses all three loops and sends the input directly to the output. Add whatever you would like into the loops and the 3-rotary looper selects which channel is active. Since it uses a knob rather than a footswitch, the rotary looper is perfect for keyboard players. It is also useful for selecting/testing preamps.
Our 5-rotary looper works the same way as the 3-looper, except with two extra loops. Its rotary switch has a 6th bypass position.
